On Monday, the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards took place at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles to celebrate the best of American television and bring together the biggest TV stars, who were dressed to the nines and served up some serious fashion on the red carpet.
The trends of the evening were apparent with stars embellished in sequins and beads, Amanda Seyfried and Lily James both brought a couture-level dose of sparkle and shine in Armani Privé and Atelier Versace respectively.
There were also instances where silhouettes were simple and more pared back glamour, Zendaya, who took home the prize for Outstanding Lead Actress for her role in the hit series Euphoria, swept down the red carpet in a dramatic black Valentino ballgown which was a nod to old Hollywood glamour, while Lizzo chose to let her Giambattista Valli gown’s explosion of red-hot ruffles make an impact.
Natasha Rothwell, nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie, stunned in a custom merlot-colored silk taffeta gown from Safiyaa with dramatic puff sleeves and plunging neckline.
