Cipriani
On May 13, 1931, in Venice, Giuseppe Cipriani opened the doors of Harry's Bar. Over the years this became the meeting place for writers, painters, artists, aristocrats, kings and queens. Among them: Barbara Hutton, Katharine Hepburn, Gary Cooper, Giancarlo Menotti, Peggy Guggenheim, Orson Welles, Frank Lloyd Wright, Joe di Maggio, Truman Capote and Ernest Hemingway.
The secrets of the success of this small bar are the quality of the service offered, the freedom and the absence of impositions.
